This position is located in Clinton, LA in the East Feliciana Parish Economic Stability Office.
This is an essential administrative position which provides support to the core mission of the Department of Children and Family Services. The position provides clerical, programmatic, and administrative support functions for staff, applicants and clients of the Economic Stability Office. Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Relieves the Economic Stability Manager from routine administrative matters.
+ Processes employment forms on new and existing employees and forwards them to the Regional Office.
+ Monitors and analyzes budget information on an ongoing basis for the office.
+ Compiles and submits payroll reports to the Regional Office.
+ Prepares material needed for meetings.
+ Ensures office supplies are ordered timely and maintaining procedures to distribute them equally.
+ Performs related duties as assigned.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: This position may be filled as a probational appointment or a job appointment that may last up to 48 months. Job appointments may convert to probational appointments. Also, it may be filled as a detail and promoted within 12 months or by promotion of a permanent classified employee.
Work Schedule: Typically, work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Flexible work schedules are available after meeting certain criteria and is dependent upon the position you are applying for. Some positions require working shifts.
Work Location: This position is located in Clinton, LA in the East Feliciana Parish Economic Stability Office.
