Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in designing and developing tools, jigs, and fixtures used in production processes. You will work closely with blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine the dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, while setting up and operating various machinery.

Responsibilities

+ Design and develop tools, jigs, and fixtures used in production.

+ Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.

+ Determine sequence of operations and setup requirements.

+ Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on materials or workpieces as guides for subsequent machining.

+ Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production and assembly processes.

+ Proficiency in general labor and machine operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or general education degree.

Work Environment

You will work in a dynamic production environment, utilizing various technologies and equipment, including mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers. The position may involve shifts and requires adherence to safety protocols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Monroe City, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $16.00/hr.
