Job Title: CNC Programmer
Job Description
This role involves programming and operating CNC machines, interpreting technical blueprints, inputting design specifications, adjusting machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. The position also includes routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting during the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret technical drawings or CAD models to determine best programming process practices.
+ Model cutting paths and program machines using computer software.
+ Implement setup sheets for shop floor use using Microsoft Office tools.
+ Optimize existing programs to improve cycle times and product quality.
+ Program machines considering tools required for cutting specific materials.
+ Collaborate with management, engineering, setup technicians, and machinist operators on new job launches and continuous improvement activities.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve machining process issues as they arise.
+ Conduct quality control tests during manufacturing and on the final product.
+ Train teammates on machine operation procedures.
+ Interpret CMM layout reports to adjust or resolve CNC program issues.
Essential Skills
+ Experience setting up, programming, and running CNC machines, including VMC and lathe machining centers.
+ Proficient programming using Mastercam with a minimum of five years as a full-time programmer.
+ Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with fixture/work holding design is a plus.
+ Understanding of tooling types, speeds, and feeds.
+ Problem-solving skills and timely resolution capabilities.
+ Ability to work independently and follow directions closely.
+ Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 30 pounds.

Work Environment
The work area is set up in cells, requiring operation of more than one machine at a time. The large company consists of multiple buildings, but the work will be confined to one building. The dress code is jeans and a work shirt.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $71819.00 - $86181.00/yr.
