    Job Title: CMM Programmer

    Job Description

    As a CMM Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and validating precision measurement routines using PC-DMIS software for turned and machined components. Your work will ensure conformance to customer specifications by incorporating GD&T callouts from engineering drawings. You will revise existing CMM inspection programs to accommodate design revisions and new product introductions, maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and minimizing rework during prototype and production phases.

    Responsibilities

    + Program and validate precision measurement routines using PC-DMIS software.

    + Revise CMM inspection programs to accommodate design revisions and new product introductions.

    + Manage Advanced Product Quality Planning processes for new product introductions.

    + Compile PPAP documentation packages, including control plans, process flows, and measurement system analysis reports for customer approval.

    + Perform rigorous dimensional verification at multiple production stages, including initial sample approval, receiving inspection of raw materials, and in-process verification before shipment.

    + Partner with engineering, CNC, and quality teams to facilitate APQP processes, including PFMEA and control plan development.

    + Validate PPAP submissions to meet stringent customer standards.

    + Innovate modular CMM fixture designs to improve measurement repeatability, ergonomic accessibility, and fixture longevity.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in CMM programming using PC-DMIS software.

    + Strong understanding of GD&T callouts.

    + Experience with ISO 9001 requirements.

    + Ability to manage Advanced Product Quality Planning processes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Programming experience.

    + Familiarity with APQP processes, including PFMEA and control plan development.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
