Description
• Design, install, and test theatrical automation equipment. Ensure systems meet performance and safety standards.
• Develop and program automated components. Utilize Siemens PLC and TIA Portal for custom programming and implementation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues Identify product defects, software errors, and write clear technical reports.
• Maintain and repair automation equipment. Apply electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical knowledge to optimize performance.
• Collaborate across departments and companies. Work closely with development teams and partners to integrate systems.
• Perform system testing at height and in varied conditions. Conduct complex tests with a respect for safety and physical challenges.
• Travel regularly for project installations and support. Be available for travel up to 60% of the year, domestically and possibly internationally.
• Engage in continuous learning and tech upgrades. Stay current with evolving automation and programming technologies.
• Apply creative and analytical thinking. Solve problems using strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and software proficiency.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
- PLC Programming experience
- Siemens PLC programming
- Java experience
- Network troubleshooting experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
20k life insurance w/ options to buy more, supplemental policies, short/long term paid disability, 401K 2% annual salary added, 20% for vestment basis (after 5 years fully vested), Bonus structure for attendance/productivity being implemented now.
