Job Title: Turret Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a Turret Operator who is eager to learn and operate sheet metal machines. The role involves loading sheet metal into the machine, inspecting it, and mastering the machine setup process. Successful candidates who excel in setup can expect to expand their skills and learn the programming aspect of turret operations.

Responsibilities

+ Operate turret machines for sheet metal fabrication.

+ Load sheet metal into machines and inspect the output for quality.

+ Learn and execute machine setup procedures.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of machinery.

+ Develop skills in programming aspects of turret operations.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in machine operation.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Knowledge of turret operations and press brake machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 6 months of machine operating experience.

+ Familiarity with punch press and sheet metal fabrication.

Work Environment

Our facility features 7 new break press machines and 8 welding bays, offering a spacious and well-lit shop environment. The shop is meticulously maintained with new lighting and inventory shelves reaching the ceiling. This position is for the 2nd shift, providing a clean and organized work setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
