    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team, primarily focusing on plastic injection mold machines and auxiliary equipment. This role involves working on dryers, ovens, hot runners, robotic pick and place systems, pumps, and handling hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting. You will utilize computer tablets to receive and complete work orders, and an understanding of cycle times and screws within plastic injection molding machines is essential. Responsibilities also include adhering to preventative maintenance schedules and facilities maintenance.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform maintenance on plastic injection mold machines and auxiliary equipment.

    + Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

    + Use computer tablets to receive and complete work orders efficiently.

    + Conduct preventative maintenance according to schedules.

    + Perform facilities maintenance as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with plastic injection mold machines.

    + Electrical troubleshooting skills, including the use of a multimeter and handling 480V systems.

    + Mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

    + Strong troubleshooting capabilities.

    Work Environment

     

    This position operates on the 1st shift from 7am to 3pm. The role is part of a team of five technicians, including the Maintenance Manager. Each technician has their own workstation, access to a tablet for work orders, and a large tool room equipped with manuals, tools, and inventory.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00/hr.
