Multi Craft Maintenance Technician in Springfield, TN 37172

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Multi Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team at an automotive supplier. You will be working on the highly automated assembly side of the plant, primarily focusing on Fanuc Robots and PLCs. Your role will involve rehoming Fanuc robots, performing touchup points, and troubleshooting failures. Experience in industrial maintenance, including troubleshooting Fanuc servo motors, drives, and power supplies, is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Perform rehoming of Fanuc robots and touchup points.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues with robots in failure.

+ Maintain and repair Fanuc servo motors, drives, and power supplies.

+ Conduct electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for maintenance tasks.

+ Provide maintenance support for automated assembly processes.

+ Ensure proper functioning of PLCs, including Allen Bradley PLCs.

+ Collaborate with team members to address maintenance challenges.

Essential Skills

+ Industrial maintenance experience.

+ Ability to troubleshoot Fanuc robots and PLCs.

+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.

+ Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

+ Knowledge of press machine maintenance.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Robot programming and integration - preferred but not required.

+ Mechatronics degree or industrial maintenance degree.

+ Mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise.

Work Environment

This position is on the 3rd shift, working from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with the potential for overtime and some weekend hours. The facility is non-climate controlled, so expect hot conditions during summer. As a Tier 1 supplier, the environment is fast-paced, focusing on producing parts for major automotive companies.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.01 - $34.01/hr.
