THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Management Technician, you will complete a wide-range of administrative duties to assist the Data Management Division (DMD) and all other divisions within the Bureau of Clean Water (BCW). Specific responsibilities entail providing support for the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System ( NPDES) fees collection program, the electronic Discharge Monitoring Report (eDMR) system, the Water Management System (WMS), the Environment Facility Application Compliance Tracking System (eFACTS), the Nutrient Trading Program, and Chesapeake Bay monitoring and reporting activities. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be functioning as a liaison between the BCW, field operations, regulated community, and the public for issues related to fees and eDMR registrations. This professional also conducts administrative completeness reviews and initial technical reviews of eDMR registration requests received and communicates the request status/delinquencies to the submitter.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
+ Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
+ Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $ 45,907.00 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information ;or
+ Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
+ An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
