The Inventory Coordinator is a key player in our manufacturing operations, responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting material flow, and helping ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently. From tracking raw materials and fabricated components to conducting cycle counts and coordinating deliveries, this role is critical in keeping our supply chain organized and responsive.

Working closely with shop staff, purchasing, and logistics teams, you’ll help monitor inventory levels, identify shortages, and support the timely movement of materials in and out of the facility. Your attention to detail and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment directly support on-time production and project success.

Manage activates related to inventory control within a warehouse and yard environment. Perform various functions that are necessary for the timely, efficient, and effective operations of the warehouse and yard.

R ole R esponsibilities

+ Assist in developing solutions to specific problem areas related to inventory control.

+ Compile, verify, and report periodic statistical information to management regarding trends in work order and process fluctuation.

+ Work with Purchasing, suppliers, and Business Units to establish and maintain on hand stock levels, minimums, and maximums.

+ Monitor inventory and cycle counting process as required by Production Planning.

+ Develop and maintain procedures to ensure accurate stock quantities and values in stock management software.

+ Assist in creating and implementing solutions to problems with inventory management and streamlining processes.

+ Work with department supervisors to create physical organization of inventoried items.

+ Occasionally load and unload items from the warehouse and yard.

+ Other duties as assigned.

+ Shift: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

Qualifications

+ High school degree or GED or equivalent combination of skills and 2-3 years of experience in Inventory Management.

+ Computer skills with ability to learn new software.

+ Able to perform technical responsibilities.

+ Demonstrates proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

+ Able to coordinate own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities in accomplishing well defined outcomes.

+ Able to receive direct supervision and guidance.
