**POSITION:** Gas Operations Clerk

**STARTING RATE OF PAY:** $37\.03 \(after six months $41\.87 & after one year $45\.66\)

**CURRENTLY POSTED HOURS:** M\-F, 7:00AM – 3:30PM

JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, the Gas Operations Clerk is responsible for administrative support within the Gas Operations Organization\. The incumbent provides processing and accurate completion of associated paperwork and updating of systems\. Incumbent exercises initiative, judgment and makes decisions within the scope of assigned authority\. The Gas Operations Clerk provides various administrative support, primarily calling in digsafe tickets and trench\-opening permit applications\.

QUALIFICATIONS

1\. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license

2\. Previous clerical work experience in a utility environment preferred

3\. High School Diploma or equivalent required

4\. Minimum of three yearsclerical/administrativeexperience

5\. Payroll experience preferred

6\.Must be willing to work overtime during the week and/or Saturday \-especially during the spring, summer and fall months
