    Hilton Columbus Downtown is on the lookout for a Banquet Coordinator to join their team, due to a recent promotion\! This role offers a fantastic chance to be part of one of downtown's largest hotels\. As a Banquet Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the front and back of house banquet teams with administrative tasks\.

     

    This role is an hourly based position with the schedule of Monday \- Friday from 10:00am\-6:00pm

     

    What will I be doing?

     

    As our Banquets Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting the banquet management team as well as the culinary management team\.

    As a Team Member your essential functions in this role include such things as:

    + To organize, plan and prioritize your duties by developing plans and goals\.

    + Timely communication to internal clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person\.

    + Manage the BEO books for both banquet and culinary teams by completing Daily change logs, distros, and weekly Batch\.

    + Assist in managing the culinary teams BEO walls

    + Creating food labels for events\. Consulting with the culinary team, when necessary, to update dietary items\. Save in appropriate files, print, and distribute to appropriate events\.

    + Assist with creating Captain’s Reports

    + Assist with entering banquet checks into POS

    + Assist with entering banquet schedule into Unifocus

    + Other duties as necessary based on business needs
