    Director, Sponsorship Activation

     

    What does a successful Director, Sponsorship Activation do?

     

    In this role, you will oversee and manage the Fiserv sponsorship activation strategy, planning and execution for both business-to-business (B2B) clients and business-to-consumer (B2C) clients. Your focus will be on sponsorship-related programs, partner and event activations, and brand experiences across the organization. Your key objectives will include driving company growth through a strategic plan, implementation process and reports for the sponsorship and activation programs that align with marketing and event plans to meet or exceed the overall business goals.     What you will do:

    + Build and design new-to-Fiserv and Clover capabilities to drive brand awareness, new business acquisition, and customer engagement while also optimizing existing activations.

    + Build a sponsorship strategy, calendar, and project plans to enhance Fan Activation and Small Business programming and outreach.

    + Manage investment decisions to maintain program budgets.

    + Coordinate delivery of a complete Fan Activation and SMB activation experience.

    + Collaborate on ticket and suite strategy for effective utilization and distribution.

    + Build and track success metrics and reports for each activation.

    + Collaborate with all levels of key internal Fiserv and external stakeholders, external partners and clients - ensuring that requirements are defined, strategies are aligned, timelines are meticulously managed, and success metrics are established and tracked for all sponsorships and activations.

    What you will need to have:

    + 8+ years of experience with communications, marketing, partnership, event or project management experience

    + Experience managing a team of direct reports or temporary staff onsite at events

    + Experience managing external sponsorship programs and activation campaigns

    + Experience overseeing vendors, agencies, and partnerships

    + Advanced skills in MS Excel

    + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.

    What would be great to have:

    + Sports and lifestyle activation experience

    + Project Management certification

    + Proficiency in using project management tools like Workfront, Monday.com, Wrike, Asana, etc.

    Important information about this role:

    + This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

    + Ability to travel up to 30% of the time and work weekends/evenings, as necessary.

    + In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship now or in the future.

    + This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.
