CTG is seeking to fill a Systems Analyst 3 opening for our client in Austin, TX.
**Location:** Austin, TX
Will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position (Within 50-mile radius).
No C2C, W2 only
Duties:
+ Analyze business objectives and problems; identify alternative solutions and perform cost/benefit analysis.
+ Gather and define user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve current systems.
+ Develop detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and required development steps.
+ Review system capabilities and limitations to assess feasibility of proposed changes.
+ Provide technical leadership within an agile development team environment.
+ Acquire and integrate data from various sources for analytics and reporting.
+ Develop complex SQL scripts and database views using Oracle and/or Snowflake.
+ Automate ETL processes using Informatica Power Center or IICS.
+ Validate SQL scripts, Informatica automations, and database views.
+ Collaborate on data modeling and data acquisition strategies.
+ Participate in sprint ceremonies and agile development practices.
+ Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and diagrams.
+ Interpret and refine business requirements to recommend enhancements.
+ Provide implementation and configuration support for development tools.
+ Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Skills:
+ Informatica Power Center/IICS ETL design and automation
+ Data integration from Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and Adobe PDF
+ Complex Oracle/Snowflake SQL scripting
+ Agile methodology and sprint team participation
+ Technical writing and modeling with tools like Visio and Erwin
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project
+ Software development best practices and version control
+ Experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, and REST/SOAP Web Services
+ CI/CD pipeline development with GitHub/Git Actions
+ Mulesoft development experience
+ Knowledge of security and compliance for healthcare data
+ JIRA and other agile project management tools
Experience:
+ 8+ years developing ETL workflows in Informatica
+ 8+ years integrating data from multiple sources for analytics
+ 8+ years creating efficient SQL scripts
+ 8+ years in systems analysis for data analytics or warehousing
+ 8+ years of technical documentation and modeling experience
+ 8+ years managing and planning software platform delivery
+ 6+ years in a client-facing or cross-functional technical communication role
+ 4+ years on agile sprint teams
+ 4+ years with healthcare data systems or PII/PHI handling preferred
+ Prior experience with data visualization and performance metrics environments preferred
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience preferred
