**ManTech** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Onsite Technician** to join our team in the **National Capital Region (NCR).** This is a hybrid position .
As an On-Site Technician, this individual will provide direct, hands-on technical support to government personnel, ensuring their desktop systems and multimedia tools function flawlessly. Their presence will be essential in maintaining continuous and effective IT operations for federal agencies.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Provide on-site technical support for desktop hardware, software, and multimedia equipment to government users.
+ Perform installations, configurations, and repairs of IT equipment at user locations.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime for critical government operations.
+ Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and documentation of field service activities.
+ Communicate effectively with end-users and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction; responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users and hands-on assistance, provides on-site support to end users on a variety of issues, identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems ensuring all assigned tickets are updated and moving towards a successful resolution in a manner that meets or exceeds SLAs, documenting, tracking, and monitoring tickets to ensure a timely resolution
+ Interacts with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem, simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties, recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems, and performs Moves, Adds and Changes (MAC)
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma
+ A+ Certification
+ 3+ years prior experience in a field technician or on-site support role, preferably supporting government clients.
+ Experience with multimedia setups (e.g., projectors, video conferencing systems).
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for direct user interaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
+ Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common business applications.
+ Experience with network security best practices and technologies in a government or highly regulated environment.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Clearance Requirements:
+ Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
+ Must be able to obtain a DHS Suitability
Physical Requirements:
+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
