ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior Technical Project Lead** to join our team in the **National Capital Region (NCR).** This is a hybrid position.
As a Senior Technical Project Lead, this individual will drive key IT initiatives, ensuring the successful delivery of projects that enhance government desktop services. Their leadership will be crucial in managing technical teams and delivering innovative solutions for federal agencies.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Lead and manage technical projects related to government desktop service support, from planning to execution and closure.
+ Define project scope, cost, schedule, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
+ Oversee technical teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
+ Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful deployment of IT solutions.
+ Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to program management and government clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
+ 7+ years of experience managing IT projects, especially in a government contracting environment.
+ Strong technical background in desktop support, systems administration, or networking.
+ Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
+ PMP or other relevant project management certifications (e.g., CSM, ITIL).
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical data to non-technical personnel.
+ Extensive experience managing large-scale IT projects for the U.S. Government.
+ Proven track record of successful project execution and client relationship management.
+ Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM).
Clearance Requirements:
+ Must have an active Secret Clearance
+ Must be able to obtain a DHS Suitability
Physical Requirements:
+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
