    Director of Admissions

     

    Pay: $75,000 per year

     

    We are currently seeking a caring and dynamic individual who is looking for an opportunity to have a direct, positive impact on the lives of our patients on a daily basis, to join our team as the Admissions Director.

     

    The Admissions Director oversees the execution of all admission and some marketing activities. This person will facilitate any tours of the facility to prospective admissions. This person will be the main communication link between local hospital sour center, and residents’ families. This person is responsible for the conceptualization and execution of some marketing programs, while contributing to the development and growth of the organization through multifaceted roles.

     

    The Admissions Director will work closely with the management strategies as well as, facilitate marketing communication plans and promotional activities.

     

    It is expected that the Admissions Director will possess excellent communication skills and experience working with Medicare and Medicaid and other Managed Care agencies.

    JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

    + Building and maintaining facility occupancy through the implementation of a facility marketing plan

    + Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly

    + Application of sales techniques

    + Working independently through the building relationships with outside referral sources

    + Managing the admissions process to ensure residents and family satisfaction

    + Maintaining a network of referral sources, providing information via marketing materials or presentations as needed

    + Following all company policies, procedures, and business ethic codes

    + Attending all staff meeting, trainings, and educational classes as required

    + Establishing department goals and ensuring all stated goals are met

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

    + Compassion for desire to work with elderly

    + Must be an effective communicator

    + Must have a strong organizational skills
