Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
• Production Readiness & Vulnerability Remediation: Take ownership of identifying and resolving vulnerabilities—primarily within Java and Maven-based applications—across a broad portfolio of production systems. Ensure timely fixes and upgrades are completed to meet security compliance deadlines.
• Software Maintenance & Compliance: Lead ongoing maintenance efforts for existing infrastructure and application code. This includes working within ISD frameworks and IEC code to ensure all systems and processes meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
• Infrastructure Modernization & Code Management: Update and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, with a focus on reliability and scalability. Contribute to deployment workflows, code changes, and environment configurations. Prepare for upcoming integration of GCP environments.
• Root Cause Analysis & Break/Fix Support: Conduct in-depth investigations of system failures or broken deployments to identify root causes. Collaborate with dev teams to resolve complex issues and prevent recurrence.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with application developers to communicate identified vulnerabilities and partner on remediation strategies. Understand when to escalate to development teams and when to resolve issues independently.
• Release Support & Upgrade Planning: Assist in preparing applications for release by ensuring security patches and major upgrades are successfully implemented and validated in lower environments before production deployment.
Experience Requirements:
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure and application support
• Strong proficiency in Java (17/21), Maven, and Terraform
• Experience remediating vulnerabilities and supporting code-level changes
• Solid understanding of ISD/IEC compliance standards and infrastructure security protocols
