Description:

Our leading Financial Services client is looking to hire an experienced Data Engineer/Architect todesign and build platforms, tools, and solutions that help manage, secure, and generate value from its data.

_This role will require someone to work on site in Cincinnati, Ohio on a full-time basis_

_Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

_Rate: $75-85/hr. w2_

Responsibilities:

The data engineer designs and builds platforms, tools, and solutions that help the bank manage, secure, and generate value from its data. The person in this role creates scalable and reusable solutions for gathering, collecting, storing, processing, and serving data on both small and very large (i.e. Big Data) scales. These solutions can include on-premise and cloud-based data platforms, and solutions in any of the following domains ETL, business intelligence, analytics, search, messaging, data warehousing, stream processing, and machine learning.

+ DBT

+ Snowflake

+ SQL

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE

+ Seven+ years IT work experience relevant to the position.

+ Experience in one or more of the following disciplines preferred: big data technologies and distributions, metadata management products, commercial ETL tools, Bi and reporting tools, messaging systems, data warehousing, Java (language and run time environment), major version control systems, continuous integration/delivery tools, infrastructure automation and virtualization tools, major cloud, or rest API design and development.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.

_Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
