    Salary: $3837 / Week

     

    Position: Registered Nurse, PACU

     

    Location : Boston, MA

     

    Schedule : D/N Rotates or Nights, 36 or 48 hour options

     

    Start : August

     

    Pay : $3,837 for 48's. $2,895 for 36's

    Details:

    2 Openings for - Tues/weds/thurs nights only MUST HAVE: 3+ years RN experience 1+ years Travel PACU experience, 1+ years Academic Medical Center experience

    2 Openings for - 36 hours or 48 hours, 50% D/N rotation with up to 2 weekend shifts per mos MUST HAVE: 3+ years RN experience 1+ years Travel PACU experience

     

    The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse cares for patients who have under gone anesthesia. The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse is responsible for observing and treating a patient post operation and making sure that they safely awake from anesthesia. The PACU nurse must monitor vital signs and levels of consciousness to make sure that the sedation is wearing off properly, there are no adverse reactions occurring and patients are regaining consciousness.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current RN licensure in the state in which RN is working.

    + ACLS and PALS certification per contract requirements.

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
