The Sr Manager Credit Strategy & Analysis is a senior leader on the analytics team; this individual will lead a team of individual contributors, will achieve success through cross-functional collaboration and partnership with other analytical leaders, with emphasis on proactive communication and partner with cross-functional areas to both formulate-the-vision and ensure-the-execution towards future innovation.

    The business areas reporting to this role may include the following:

    + Servicing analytics (contact strategy, customer segmentation, advanced metrics)

    + Decision sciences (quantitative modeling, data engineering & infrastructure)

    Responsibilities:

    + Leading strategy development for contact and servicing strategies, portfolio segmentation, and channel optimization

    + Designing and executing champion/challenger strategies and data-driven campaigns to improve customer experience and collection outcomes

    + Partnering with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Tech, Legal, Compliance, Product) to develop and implement portfolio and treatment strategies

    + Exploring opportunities to use machine learning models, Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to modernize operations

    + Leverage new and alternative data to improve consumer engagement and conversion

    + Influence executive-level decision-making, by developing data-informed recommendations

    + Attract, develop, and retain top-tier analytical professionals

     

    What you will need to succeed

     

    While primarily expected to demonstrate team leadership through crafting a departmental vision and emphasizing high quality execution through an analytical team of direct reports, the ideal candidate should also be a player-coach, who is willing and able to conduct analysis independently, including manipulating large dataset, executing complex analysis, and clearly summarizing actionable findings. A candidate for this role will have a passion for attracting and developing top-tier analytical talent as well as hiring-and-mentoring an exceptionally talented analytical team Lastly, this individual should possess the humility to work effectively with others across the organization, including operations, product, engineering, and more.

    To be eligible

    + Degree in an analytical or mathematical field with focus in economics and 5+ years of experience in an analytical or strategic role

    + 2+ years of experience managing an analytical team of direct reports

    + Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, demonstrated through learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and lateral-thinking creativity to tackle new challenges

    + Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, and navigate complex projects, systems, and relationships

    + Excellent communication skills, with ability to synthesize complexity to influence executive leadership

    + Working proficiency in technical tools, including spreadsheet applications, SQL, Tableau, R/Python, GitHub, and Azure

    Bonus points for

    + MBA or advanced degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., engineering, math, statistics, optimization, economics, physics, etc.)

    + Prior experience in consumer-lending, credit risk, fintech, product analytics, strategy or economic consulting

     

    Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the Kennesaw, GA Office and has a Hybrid work arrangement.

     

    Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Sponsorship will **not** be considered for this specific role.
