Job Description
Job Title: Senior Architect
Job Type: Full Time with Benefits
As the Architect of Trading, you will lead a team of engineers in building our trading system at client Digital Assets. We are investing in a new trading platform and will be building the system from the ground up. As an experienced technology leader you will be leveraging your technical skills to help make our other developers more efficient and effective at their jobs. This is a hands-on role where you will write code and you will be responsible for full deployment life cycle, from requirements collection to final deployment of the software. You will engage closely with our trading architect, product, operations team and other stakeholders to deliver a high-quality product for the client Digital Assets platform.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
+ Bachelor’s degree+ in computer science or related field with 10+ years of experience.
+ Strong background in designing and developing low latency trading systems.
+ Experience in building market data, SOR, Algo and exchange-connectivity platforms.
+ Experience using kernel bypass e.g., Solarflare Open Onload.
+ Extensive experience with modern Java using zero GC patterns.
+ Highly proficient in ultra-low latency design patterns and optimizing trading systems.
+ Hands on experience with low latency messaging products, such as Aeron, Solace and 29West.
+ Knowledge of WebSocket and FIX protocols.
+ Proficient in SQL and a working knowledge of relational and time series databases.
+ Experience designing APIs, distributed systems, asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services.
+ An understanding of microservice architecture and cloud-based deployments.
+ Ability to build reliable software that can withstand unreliable environments.
+ Can provide leadership and mentorship across small, agile teams in a very collaborative environment where your ideas are welcome.
+ Solid analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
+ An interest in and experience with cryptocurrencies and a passion for keeping up to date in space.

Salary Transparency Language:
Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $106230 to $145000/yearly.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
