Abound Health is seeking a Residential Manager to join our Residential Services team in Sharpsville, PA. In this role, you will report to the Program Specialist. As a Residential Manager, you will lead daily operations in a group home setting, support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), and guide a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to deliver person-centered care. You will also play a critical role in staff development, compliance, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee daily household operations, including health, safety, personal care, and financial tracking
+ Provide direct support to individuals, ensuring person-centered care and ISP implementation
+ Communicate updates between administrative staff and DSPs, including health, medication, and appointment changes
+ Monitor and mentor DSP performance, provide on-the-job training, and ensure completion of required documentation
+ Maintain household supplies, food inventory, and vehicle upkeep
+ Conduct regular team meetings and support positive staff morale and communication
+ Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergencies or staffing shortages
Qualifications:
+ Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
+ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
+ Experience providing feedback, coaching, and guiding staff teams
+ Ability to ensure compliance with regulations and agency policies
+ Must be dependable, organized, and committed to person-centered values
Education:
+ High School Diploma or GED required
+ Additional training or education in Human Services or related fields preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
The target base salary for this full-time, hourly position is $20/hour. Base pay is determined by factors such as work location, experience, skills, and education. Abound Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and wellness coverage starting on your 60th day, and 401(k) eligibility after 12 months of employment.
