    Purpose of Job

     

    This is a highly visible position which will require an individual to perform with an advanced degree of professionalism and integrity while handling sensitive and confidential information. The person in this role will assist by providing a wide array of HR support and advice. He or she will be responsible for offering guidance on training and development, performance management, associate relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between associates and management.

    Major Duties/Responsibilities

    + Top duties or activities in a given year. Not all tasks/steps performed are listed.

    + Tracking all associate training including, but not limited to: on-the-job training records (Task Certifications), on-site training, outside training, and Associate Career Development continuing education courses. Creating and maintaining associate training records using HRIS record-keeping and tracking systems. Providing individual and overall training records as requested for audit and departmental tracking purposes.

    + Providing support to associates by scheduling approved inside and outside training as needed, or as requested by the associate or their management team. Coordinating with training providers to schedule on-site training classes and programs for associates. Conducting on-site training courses for associates as needed.

    + Provide support to develop and maintain human resources programs, policies, and procedures.

    + Maintain a positive work environment and high associate engagement by providing excellent service and support.

    + Other duties as assigned.

     

    Education, Experience, and Knowledge

     

    Required and/or preferred level of education, knowledge, and skills that are necessary.

    Education

    Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.

    Related Experience

    + General office competencies, excellent communication skills, and computer literacy with MS Office suite.

    + Training and development, organizational development, performance management, policy development, associate relations.

     

    Special Training or Competency

     

    Customer focused attitude, with a high level of professionalism, discretion, sound judgement, and problem solving skills.

     

    PHR Certification and/or SHRM-CP Certification.

    Additional Information

    Work Hours: ​​​​Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 4 pm. Off-hours as needed.

    Travel Requirements

    Less than 10% international and/or domestic.

     

    If domestic travel is necessary, a valid driver’s license is required.

     

    If international travel is necessary, a valid passport is required.
