    Overview

     

    As a Software Data Quality Analyst I at Brightstar Lottery, you’ll be an integral part of our Software Development team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of instant scratch lottery ticket data. You’ll work hands-on with proprietary tools and commercial software to audit, verify, and deliver high-quality game data and print files. This role is ideal for meticulous professionals with a passion for data accuracy and a collaborative approach.

    Responsibilities

    + Audit and validate lottery game data, ticket layouts, and printer fonts.

    + Use proprietary and commercial software to generate and verify game data and merge it with graphic layouts.

    + Build, review, and audit printer files and client deliverables for scratch-off lottery tickets.

    + Ensure all data meets quality standards and client specifications.

    + Maintain detailed documentation of processes, audits, and procedural changes.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ticket design and game creation.

    + Operate independently with minimal direction, while advancing sophisticated issues as needed

    Qualifications

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field.

     

    High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

    Experience

    Minimum 1 year of experience in data auditing, analysis, or a related field like accounting or quality assurance.

    Skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

    + Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

    + Outstanding attention to detail and organizational abilities.

    + Capability to handle numerous tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $31,096 - $67,496. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

     

    Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
