Ford Motor Credit Company (FMCC) is the Financial Services arm of Ford Motor Company and is headquartered in Dearborn, Michigan. Ford Credit seeks a **Director of Product Management, Core and Servicing Platforms** to lead the vision and product roadmap for these platforms and deliver impactful launches with cross-functional teams. This role also oversees mid- and long-term product strategy within Ford Credit while considering the broader Ford ecosystem.
What you'll do…
As **Director of Product Management, Core and Servicing Platforms** , you will oversee a team of 75 Product Managers and Analysts and collaborate with cross-functional partners in a complex, matrixed structure, while being responsible for the vision and roadmap of your area.
+ Lead vision and product roadmap for Core (Originations and Receivables) and Servicing Platforms, ensuring impactful launches with cross-functional collaboration.
+ Partner closely with Engineering, UX, and other cross functional teams to create, drive, and deliver an innovative, compelling, and user-friendly experience to our customers.
+ Champion the product vision for internal capabilities—driving agent productivity, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer experiences by aligning priorities and enabling advanced tooling, enterprise platforms, workflows, and AI solutions.
+ Engage with upstream and downstream product leaders to align on dependencies to maximize value across mission portfolios.
+ Evaluate and determine appropriate metrics to gauge product success, incorporating both formal and informal stakeholder feedback.
+ Improve proactive identification of failures and prioritization of customer intent across grow and run the business efforts.
+ Coordinate and scale cross-functional efforts for customers across the globe.
+ Unlock roadblocks at corporate level and cultivate collaboration with senior product leaders across Ford Credit through leadership, creativity, intelligence, and presence.
+ Drive organizational change to align with evolving product operating model.
+ Develop and grow the team through effective mentoring, coaching, succession planning, and retention strategies.
You'll have…
+ Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience and education
+ 12+ years of Product Management experience
+ 6+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and leaders
+ Experience engaging at an executive level internally with cross-functional groups
+ Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
+ Experience presenting to senior executive audiences
+ Experience working in a matrixed team structure and influencing across product areas
Even better, you may have…
+ Experience managing an organization of product managers, including building and growing the team
+ Software development experience as a developer and/or manager
+ Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
+ Master’s, MBA or PhD or equivalent experience preferred
+ A proven leader who drives the strategic roadmap and end-to-end product management life cycle from development to deployment
+ Understands the customer journey and has developed and delivered products to improve the customer experience and customer engagement
+ Ability to articulate a strategic mission that translates into the necessary actions to drive outcomes and land products that improve the customer and agent experience
+ Experience implementing and scaling Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities with demonstrable value
+ Identifies strategic opportunities to create a compelling vision that drives the team to deliver efficiencies to the organization and supports tactical efforts to drive operational excellence
+ A digital native and a leader who has driven and led disruption and innovation
+ Inspires creativity and out of the box thinking in developing product ideas and problem solving
+ Excellent communication skills: ability to articulate vision through compelling storytelling and seek alignment across all parties
+ Ability to influence without authority, working on/with technical and cross-functional or highly matrixed teams who do not report into this role to get things done
+ Collaborative and energized by working with cross functional teams and effective organizational change management leader
