Job Description:
This position coordinates and implements the promotion of health insurance products and services, including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Large and Small Group, Dental, Wellness, and Individual Plans. It follows an annual strategy to retain members to increase sales and member engagement. This position coordinates and implements marketing promotion, which significantly impacts the achievement of company sales goals. It Partners with internal business owners to coordinate and implement an annual marketing campaign within appropriate promotional budget/s. It also coordinates all marketing efforts (including digital) related to promotion of products and services and ensures successful campaign implementation. This position coordinates and implements the development of marketing and sales tools, which effectively promote, sell, educate, and engage audiences. It works closely with graphic designers, copywriters, and web team to oversee the creation of presentations, email campaigns, marketing brochures, and member communications. This position ensures the end products portray the expected message and outcome through design, content, and placement. It ensures marketing tools meet regulatory compliance, branding, and legal requirements.
This role will support marketing and communications for the Agent Experience team and will represent all lines of business, including government and commercial.
Job Essentials
1. Marketing Plan and Communication Strategy: Coordinates and implements an annual marketing plan/s and communication which supports the client's goals and approved initiatives.
2. Research Strategy: Works with the Research Team and other research sources to gather feedback to provide input for marketing promotion and member communication efforts. Looks specifically for input which may impact the annual marketing plan for assigned product lines. May be asked to write focus group scripts or online surveys.
3. Marketing Resource Oversight: Utilizes resources from multiple Marketing teams, including Creative Services, Strategic Communications, Public and Community Relations as well as eBusiness to oversee the development and ensure the successful launch of the prioritized and budgeted client marketing initiatives.
4. Project Management: Uses project tracking software to create project plans for the prioritized initiatives to ensure Marketing resources are appropriately allocated to meet deadlines and budgets. Provides status reports to appropriate leaders and internal client business owners, as appropriate.
5. Budget Management: Works with the Marketing Account Manager and the business owner(s) to manage to the approved annual budget plan/s each year. Reconciles invoices to ensure they match the bid and are submitted for payment in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications
**Bachelor's degree in communications, English, marketing, public relations, or business.**
Education must obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
Four years of experience in marketing, account management, ad agency, or retail promotion, health insurance or healthcare communications or promotion, communications, or public relations.

Two years of experience managing small projects with minimal or minor complexity

Demonstrated excellence in writing and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of word processing and other office software, desktop publishing programs, and multi-media presentation tools.

Demonstrated project management, relationship building, and problem resolution skills.

Experience in digital marketing.
- and -
Demonstrated ability to work without supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in health insurance or healthcare industry communications, marketing or promotion.

Experience in managing marketing, communications, or public relations projects.

Sales experience.

Understanding of publication production and design.
- and -
Project leadership skills, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and problem-resolution skills.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$27.65 - $43.55
