Job Title: 2nd Shift Label Cage/Warehouse Attendant

Reports to: Packaging Manager

FLSA Status: Salaried-Non-Exempt

Work Schedule: Flexibility Needed

Travel Requirements: 0-5%

Job Summary:

The JBS Pork team is seeking a 2nd Shift Label Cage/Warehouse Attendant.

Purpose and Scope: Supplying Production with labels & ensuring that all items entering and leaving the warehouse are accounted for.

Principle Responsibilities:

+ Printing, organizing & distributing product/box labels

+ Receiving of all packaging, ingredients & chemicals (computer work & putting away [for items in the label cage])

+ Tracking & Issuing/Reversing all packaging, ingredients & chemicals that leave & re-enter the warehouse

+ Managing & Organizing packaging that is returned to the warehouse, including runbacks

+ Cycle Counts/Managing Label Cage Inventory—Keeping Supervisor informed of low inventory items, etc.

+ Unload freight, if needed

+ Housekeeping

+ Help with startup, when needed

+ Perform various other duties, as needed, or as assigned by Supervisor.

Working Conditions:

+ Second shift—1:30-10 pm Monday-Friday (Saturday, if plant is working)—hours are subject to change

+ Work a minimum of 40 hours per week; overtime as needed

+ May be required to change shifts &/or extend shift for coverage

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent

Requirement:

+ Computer Skills/Knowledge

+ Basic Math

+ Able to Speak & Legibly Write in English

+ Ability to Drive Fork Truck & be Fork Truck Trained/Certified

+ Ability to Lift Up to 50lbs

+ High Level of Attention to Detail

Experience:

+ Sit down fork truck experience is beneficial

Special Skills:

+ Proficient & Accurate Data Entry

+ Customer Service Oriented

+ Organizational Skills

+ Time Management

+ SAP Knowledge

+ Bilingual is Beneficial

Relationships:

+ Internal—Regular communication within all levels of the plant

+ External—Some communication with external agents, such as truck drivers
