Description

Robert Half is partnering with a law firm in the Greater Seattle Area to identify a Litigation Attorney who is ready to IMMEDIATELY jump in to assist and possibly join their team. This position is contract with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role.

Pay Rate: $55-70 per hour

Duration: 3+ months, potential for contract to hire!

Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

+ Provide legal counsel and representation in litigation matters, including discovery, depositions, arbitration, and trial proceedings.

+ Draft, review, and finalize legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and contracts.

+ Manage case files efficiently using case management and document management software.

+ Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.

+ Collaborate with paralegals, assistants, and other team members to ensure effective case handling.

+ Counsel clients on pre-dispute and dispute resolution matters.

+ Maintain the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all legal activities.

+ Handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

+ Active admission to the state bar in Washington.

+ 2-5 years of substantive litigation experience, preferably in civil defense.

+ Trial experience a HUGE PLUS
