    The Boeing Company is looking for an **Training Systems Support Center (TSSC) Manager** to manage the training efforts for the C-17. The position is located at **Altus AFB, OK.**

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Oversee operation of training systems to include formal course scheduling, training device monitoring, training system change management and systems improvements.

    + Work closely with the Site Lead and Logistics Manager to ensure a quality training support program is established and maintained.

    + The selected applicant will report to a Senior Manager based in St. Louis and will drive execution of existing program tasks as well as support efforts to grow the business.

    + Responsible for integrating products and capabilities with other sites and leading continuous improvement efforts.

    + This role has significant opportunity for leadership exposure and skill development, ability to execute independently and setting new standards for excellence is expected.

    + Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

    + Manages, develops and motivates employees.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + Experience in leading or managing a team of 5 or more people

    + Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees

    + Experience with guiding implementation of new processes and best practices

    + Aviation training or Aerospace support experience

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + A Bachelor’s degree or higher.

    + Previous training management experience

    + Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) in EVM (earned value management)

    + An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the post 24 months is considered active.).

    Security Clearance

     

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
