    Job Description​

    **Occupational Therapists** desiring to use _state of the art robotics in rehab (more neuro based)_ and work with a _variety of patients without severe complexities_ ...we need YOU!!

    + Acute care at **Saint Luke's South** and **Saint Luke's Rehab Institute (SLRI)** - will have the opportunity to work at both locations

    + Continue patient care once patient transitions to rehab

    + Minimum 3 shifts within a 6 week period

    + 1 weekend shift within 6 weeks and 1 minor holiday

     

    The staff Occupational Therapist OT evaluates client after impairment injury or disease plans designs and implements individualized occupational therapy treatment programs after referral from a physician. Interventions may include therapeutic exercise functional retraining use of thermal electrical modalities splinting and use of various other training and retraining skills. Periodically reevaluates client to determine effectiveness of interventions and contributes to discharge planning. The OT supervises treatment provided by students technicians or assistants and recommends client care interventions to other members of the health care team to contribute to the clients rehabilitation process. The OT delegates and instructs supportive personnel in services to be provided and performs other duties as requested by the manager.
