Job Description​

Mercer County Clinic, a valued part of the Saint Luke’s Health System, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated **Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)** to join our **tight-knit team** in Princeton, Missouri. As an LPN in our **rural health clinic** , you will provide hands-on, comprehensive care to patients across the lifespan — from **newborns to geriatrics** .

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring families in our community receive excellent, consistent care close to home.

_*Shift: Part Time Days (24 hours a week)_

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist with direct patient care, screenings, and routine exams

+ Perform blood draws and basic testing in our **on-site mini lab**

+ Collaborate with providers on treatment plans and care coordination

+ Document patient information accurately and efficiently

+ Deliver personalized care with a small-town, family-focused approach

Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsible for screening walk-in patients, telephone screening (with protocols), medication/injection education, assist with procedures, cleaning wounds, dressing changes, suctioning, catheter insertion, tracheostomy care, biopsies, diabetic nail care, and other duties as assigned by respective clinic . Able to work in a team atmosphere, as well as, autonomously. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times. Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel UAP in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice. May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed.

Qualifications:

+ Active **LPN license** in the state of Missouri

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills

+ Previous clinic, rural health, or family practice experience preferred
