    Job Description​

    Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)** to join our dedicated **Emergency Services Float Pool** . In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to support **all four of our metro-area hospitals** , delivering high-quality, compassionate care across diverse ED settings.

     

    _Shift: Part Time Nights (6:45pm-7:15am)_

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide expert, patient-centered nursing care in fast-paced emergency departments.

    + Adapt quickly to various clinical environments and team dynamics.

    + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

    + Utilize advanced critical thinking skills to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.

    + Support core values of Saint Luke’s: excellence, compassion, integrity, and teamwork.

     

    Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department. Tier 3 will work at four metro hospital entities.

    Qualifications:

    + Active **Registered Nurse (RN) license** in the state of Missouri and Kansas (or compact license).

    + Minimum of **2 years Emergency Department nursing experience** preferred.

    + Strong communication and adaptability skills.

    + Willingness to float among multiple facilities based on staffing needs.

    Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
