    Title: Cable Technician - Data Center

    Description:

    Our partner is looking for a cable technician to support a large data center project

    Responsibilities

    Layout and install wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches receptacles and other devices

    Will build closets (Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware). Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required. Complete all IDC connections (e.g. terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels).

     

    Pulls wire and/or oversees and directs conduit installations and wire pulling.

     

    Operates tools/equipment, normally requiring the use of two hands (examples: cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.)

    cat5, cat6, copper fiber, rack and stack, blueprint, structured cabling, cable installation, fiber optic cable, osha 10, scissor lift, conduit, cable, cable tray

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $49.00/hr.
