THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the complex clerical and administrative functions of our department that help make the work of our caseworkers and other professional staff possible. This involves supervising clerical staff, managing office resources, and ensuring work is completed in compliance with federal, state, and local policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
You will oversee daily activities of up to three clerk typists, providing training and support to ensure high standards of service and productivity. Your responsibilities will also include assisting with the preparation of reports, correspondence, and other documents as needed, as well as organizing files for case records and various programs; coordinating MA/Insurance for all children in placement; fixed asset inventory including electronics; creating and modifying forms for agency use; and covering clerk typist duties as needed. Attention to detail is essential in all activities and responsibilities for ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping and data entry into our agency's designated case management system, and for maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

This includes responding to inquiries from clients, staff, and external agencies promptly and professionally in addition to facilitating communication between clerical staff and professional staff to ensure smooth operations. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Often irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
+ Employees may have overnight travel or out of county travel for meetings or training.
+ Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ One year of moderately complex clerical work experience;or
+ Any equivalent experience and/or training which provided the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.
