• Application/Infrastructure Engineer

    CTG (San Antonio, TX)


    CTG is seeking to fill an Application/Infrastructure Engineer opening for our client in San Antonio, TX.

     

    **Location:** San Antonio, TX

    **Duration:** 6 months

    Duties:

    + Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure solutions to support enterprise-level applications.

    + Collaborate with application development teams to integrate infrastructure needs into design and implementation phases.

    + Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance using tools such as Datadog and Grafana.

    + Lead or support incident response and troubleshooting efforts related to infrastructure and application issues.

    + Implement security and compliance controls across infrastructure and application environments.

    + Support continuous improvement by identifying areas for automation, optimization, and innovation within the technology stack.

    Skills:

    + Strong background in logging and monitoring tools, including Datadog, Grafana, and Talon.

    + Proficiency in Java and ability to collaborate closely with application teams.

    + Experience in secure infrastructure design and system hardening.

    + Knowledge of implementing security and compliance standards.

    + Familiarity with infrastructure automation and DevOps methodologies.

    Experience:

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or application support roles.

    + Demonstrated experience with monitoring, incident response, and secure infrastructure practices.

    + Experience working with cloud and hybrid environments preferred.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
