CTG is seeking to fill a Clearing/Data Test Manager opening for our client in Chicago, IL.

**Location:** Chicago, IL

**Duration:** 6 months

No C2C, W2 only

Duties:

+ Lead the test strategy, planning, execution, and defect management for clearing and data validation initiatives.

+ Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and timely delivery.

+ Design and implement test cases that validate complex data transformations, data pipelines, and clearing workflows.

+ Manage and mentor a team of quality engineers, ensuring adherence to testing best practices and standards.

+ Drive root cause analysis and resolution of test-related issues and defects.

+ Utilize tools for automated and manual testing, and maintain documentation of test results and processes.

+ Monitor test progress, identify risks, and provide status updates and reporting to project leadership.

Skills:

+ Strong knowledge of clearing systems, financial data workflows, and back-office operations.

+ Expertise in test planning, execution, and reporting in both agile and waterfall project environments.

+ Proficient in SQL and data validation for complex datasets across multiple systems.

+ Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).

+ Experience with data migration, data transformation testing, and ETL validation.

+ Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Experience:

+ Minimum 2 years of quality assurance and testing experience, with at least 3 years in a test lead or manager role.

+ Prior experience in clearinghouse, trading, or financial services testing environments.

+ Experience managing testing for large-scale data or integration projects is required.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $35/hr to $40/hr. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
