We are accepting applications for Per Diem Substitute Teachers: For those who are certified, you must attach proof of certification or a copy of your certificate. All certified and non-certified must submit a resume, cover letter, student copy of transcripts (student copy is acceptable for application) and 3 references attached to your application.

Pay rates are as follows:

NYS Certified Teachers:

Days 1-20 - $110 per diem

Days 21-45 - $115 per diem

Days 46 and above $125 per diem

If you are assigned to a specific class for more than 20 days, you will receive Step 1 (Must be consecutive, in same position)

If you are substituting for 91 days and above - pay at step 1.

Uncertified Substitutes:

Minimum qualifications is Bachelor's Degree and or 60+ credit hours towards the field.

Uncertified days 21-45 $110

Uncertified days 46 and above $120

Uncertified with 20 consecutive days in same position $155

Bachelor's Degree is minimum if applying for non-certified Teacher substitute position. Non-certified teachers are subject to applicable NYS rules and regulations and are welcome to apply.
