Adjunct Faculty - Master of Social Work Program

Rowan University seeks to create a pool of adjunct faculty for the Master of Social Work program set to launch Fall ’23. We seek applicants who are qualified to teach generalist courses (e.g., practice, policy, research and clinical/ mental health courses) as well as courses related to our specialization in Mental Health, Equity, and Well-being. Depending upon scheduling needs, adjunct faculty may teach up to two courses per semester.
Qualifications: MSW and two years of practice experience required. DSW/ PhD in Social Work or related discipline and college-level-teaching experience preferred.

Please note: candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor a visa for this position.
In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $1,975 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
