Registered Nurse Supervisor - Skilled Nursing Unit

The Nursing Supervisor is a Registered Nurse, currently licensed to practice nursing in the State of Florida. The RN Supervisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total patient care services during his/her assigned shift. In the absence of Administrative staff, the RN Supervisor has the authority and responsibility for specific decisions to maintain a functional facility and will make appropriate notification of on-call Administrative staff.
Education:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing Associate or Bachelor of Science.
Experience:
Minimum experience six months to a year, depending on previous experience and unit need. One year experience as nurse manager or charge nurse preferred.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:
Current, Florida Registered Nurse License
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Management/Leadership skills, Customer Service Skills, Clinical Skills
