Job Summary

The Premium Activation Supervisor position is responsible for ensuring that all guests in premium areas of the stadium, where alcoholic beverages, restaurant partners, and sponsorship activations are being served, are receiving extraordinary service through the management and event day operation of the vintner pouring program and the cocktail sampling program.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

SERVICE OPERATIONS:

+ Responsible for aesthetics, operations, and day of logistics for the App49 Wine program, restaurant partners, and sponsorship activations.

+ Holds all vintners and bar staff and vendors responsible for knowledge of respective jobs, information, consistency, and guest service

+ Organizes and corresponds with vintners, restaurant partners, & sponsorship reps day of for each events logistics

+ Establishes good rapport with vintners, restaurant partners, sponsors, guests, and team members

+ Act as an ambassador for the 49ers and Levi’s Stadium brand by exemplifying best-in-class hospitality standards

+ Understands and can describe liquors, beers, wines, menu offerings, packaging, and presentation

+ Adheres to location appearance guidelines

+ Acts with a sense of urgency and provides friendly, efficient service

+ Assists management with any auxiliary needs

+ Responds to guest, vintner, restaurant partner, and sponsorship rep needs and requests

+ Fills out all required paperwork, reports and logs for event

+ Ability to work in a VIP environment while adhering to all company media and conduct policies

+ Conducts all work and managing with a positive and respectful attitude

+ Ability to handle sensitive matters with efficiency and discretion

+ Enforce all Levy policies and standards and report employee infractions or irregularities to management for immediate and effective follow-up training or disciplinary support

CONTROLS:

+ Maintains service areas as necessary

+ Employs excellent safety and sanitation practices

+ Follows responsible alcohol service policies

+ Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment

+ Count inventory when needed

+ Knowledge of products is in assigned spaces

+ Creative problem-solving during events and dark days

+ Follows Core Levy beverage recipes and specifications

+ Knowledge of thoroughly completing all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities

+ Communicates guest or vintner issues to management

+ Acts professionally at all times around guests, team members, and management whether an event is in session or not

+ Adheres to Levy guidelines as stated in the employee handbook

+ Works in professional clothing during events, and appropriate clothing during dark darks

TEAM:

+ Supervise all vintners, restaurant partners, & sponsorship representatives assigned to the area for the duration of the event

+ Displays a positive and respectful attitude toward teammates and managers

+ Assist fellow team members when necessary

+ Promote a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale

+ Communicates any issue from event staff to management

REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Completes required company alcohol service training

+ Wine knowledge required. Introductory sommelier certification preferred

+ Certification in Hospitality preferred

+ Always on time and ready to perform all required duties in uniform

+ Lifts and transports up to 40 lbs.

+ Walks and stands during entire shift

+ Able to communicate effectively and professionally with managers, guests and teammates by speaking and comprehending English

+ English reading, writing, computer, and math skills required

+ Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Word, and Google Docs

+ Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains

+ Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications to do so

+ Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates

+ Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership or wine related role

ATTENDANCE:

+ Attend all Levi’s Stadium events at scheduled shift time

+ Attend all Set up/Breakdown at scheduled shift time

+ Stamina to work 40+ hours per week or more as business dictates

+ Must be flexible with schedule and able to work late nights, weekends and holidays

+ Follows Levy’s attendance policies and procedures as stated in training manual and handbook
