• CNC Programmer/Operator

    Wakefield-Vette (Withee, WI)


    Responsibilities

    + Program, Set up and operate HAAS CNC Machine, to fabricate parts according to specifications.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) requirements..

    + Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.

    + Perform quality checks on finished products using basic math skills to ensure adherence to specifications.

    + Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed during the production process.

    + Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.

    Requirements

    + Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes.

    + Proficiency in using power tools and other machining equipment.

    + Familiarity with programming CNC machines is essential

    + Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical documents accurately.

    + Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.

    + Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to airborne particles and chemicals. The noise level is usually moderate. The employee is required to wear safety glasses, earplugs and safety shoes. Gloves specific to this position.
