    Our client is seeking a Microsoft Azure Security Consultant to join their team. As a Microsoft Azure Security Consultant, you will be part of the Information Security Team supporting critical security assessments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Microsoft Azure Security Consultant

    **Location:** Denver/Aurora, Colorado

    **Pay Range:** $48-53 per hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Evaluate and review the architecture of clients' Azure cloud environments to identify potential security design flaws.

    + Recommend security baselines and Azure Policy definitions for security hardening.

    + Assist with architecture and deployment planning for CrowdStrike sensors or connectors.

    + Review and recommend CrowdStrike policies to align with cloud security best practices.

    + Analyze Firewall and Network Security Group (NSG) configurations and recommend improvements.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + 5 years of hands-on Azure experience in administration, engineering, architecture, or security.

    + Strong understanding of Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework, NIST CSF, and Zero Trust principles.

    + Experience with Azure security tools and policies, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud.

    + Knowledge of role-based access control (RBAC) and privileged identity management (PIM).

    + Ability to provide documentation and knowledge transfer on security monitoring and alert response.
