This position is located in Arlington, VA and offers the following schedule of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week.
Responsibilities:
+ Ensures that products conform to business requirements/company policies, software quality standards, and established procedures
+ Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites to ensure robust and scalable testing solutions.
+ Creates and maintains SQA deliverables including test plans, test cases, test data, project test progress and release reports.
+ Assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands to deliver optimal outcomes.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert for Test Automation regarding platforms, development, and processes, providing technical leadership and guidance.
+ Create and maintain detailed documentation within code and in non-technical terms, including detailed best practices, test script summaries.
+ Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices, sharing knowledge with peers.
+ Maintain API Automation testing framework.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college
+ A track record of commitment to prior employers
+ 5+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance, with deep expertise in quality processes, tools, and metrics, including the development of testing strategies from the ground up
+ Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, including architecture design, development, and scripting, as well as strong expertise in API and Web Services testing
+ Strong working knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases with relational databases (administration and T-SQL).
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
+ Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and TFS.
+ Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational, written, and verbal skills.
+ Proven capacity to effectively interface with dynamic development teams.
+ Ability to prioritize, multi-task and proactive.
+ Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
+ Agile/Scrum experience.
