    Seeking an Operations Accountant for a Financial Services Company in WDM!!

    Job Description

    This role involves performing unique supplier setup and maintenance requests tied to projects, such as Early Pay Discount and Virtual Card, and monitoring supplier mismatch reports to resolve discrepancies between systems. The position requires answering process-related questions for peers, managers, and internal and external customers, while troubleshooting complex issues. It also involves independently prioritizing and completing escalations, reporting system defects, completing requirements for system and process enhancements, and conducting monthly user acceptance testing efforts.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform supplier setup and maintenance requests tied to projects.

    + Monitor and resolve supplier mismatch reports between systems.

    + Answer process-related questions and troubleshoot complex issues.

    + Prioritize and complete escalations independently.

    + Report system defects and complete requirements for system enhancements.

    + Conduct monthly user acceptance testing and submit test scripts.

    + Analyze risks in processes and document procedures for team improvement.

    + Assist with increased workload due to system changes and new employees.

    + Document metrics and performance between system modules.

    + Implement secondary review processes to minimize migration risks.

    + Manage system clean-up projects and delegate tasks.

    + Ensure successful supplier onboarding by partnering with various roles.

    Essential Skills

    + Operational analysis

    + Accounting expertise

    + Operations and finance knowledge

    + Reporting proficiency

    + MS Excel skills

    + Experience with Ariba

    + Experience with PeopleSoft

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2+ years of Operational Accounting experience

    + Equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military, or education

    + Experience with PeopleSoft and relevant systems is a plus

     

    Work Environment

     

    The role requires working three days a week in the office, this environment encourages collaboration with various departments and ensures close partnership with supplier key contacts and roles across Supply Chain Management, including Sourcing, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Business Groups.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.32 - $35.32/hr.
