    Required Qualifications:

    1. J.D. from an ABA accredited law school or its foreign equivalent.

    2. Minimum five years post J.D. expertise in the subject matter of course being taught as demonstrated in resume.

     

    _This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position. The level of degree is based on accreditation requirements, institutional standards of academic and professional excellence, alignment with peer institution benchmarks, and contributes to the credibility and effectiveness of the role within the university community._

    Advertised Salary Range:

    Commensurate with experience, subject matter being taught, number of courses taught, credit hours assigned to the course(s) and FTE allocation. Minimum starting salary is $1,750.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. Prior teaching experience at the law school level, particularly in the subject matter of the course(s) being taught.

    Position Overview:

    The School of Law invites qualified scholars and professionals to submit online applications to the lecturer pool to be considered for part-time and/or full-time, temporary and/or regular teaching positions. Positions vary and are dependent upon the need for instructors, if any, for courses being offered each semester. These are non-tenure-track members of the faculty whose primary role is instructional.

     

    The successful applicant must have appropriate authorization to work in the U.S. before employment begins. Any employment with the University is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a background check.
