    Pay: $40/hour (per-diem split)

    Job Description

    The Turbine Engine Technician will work in a bench repair and testing environment within the Turbine Engine shop, focusing on the overhaul of helicopter engines. This role involves disassembling, troubleshooting, repairing, reassembling, testing, and certifying systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters.

    Responsibilities

    + Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble helicopter engines.

    + Test and certify systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters.

    + Read and interpret maintenance manuals.

    + Clean and inspect engines and components using visual examination and special tooling.

    + Replace or repair damaged and worn engine parts using general hand tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring equipment.

    + Reassemble engines, perform tests, and checks to confirm serviceability.

    + Document inspection findings and corrective actions in maintenance records.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in engine repair and maintenance.

    + A&P license and aircraft maintenance expertise.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills.

    + Experience with aircraft engine maintenance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 4+ years of experience in turbine engine maintenance.

    + Experience with Honeywell or GE engines is highly preferred.

    + Military or commercial turbine engine maintenance training is preferred.

    + Familiarity with basic tools is required.

    + US Person status per client ITAR regulation.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, Oregon.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
