Position Per Diem Administrative Assistant

Full-Time/Part-Time Per Diem

Location Bergen Street

Salary $25 - $30/hour

Days/Hours Flexible Schedule; Min. 24 Hours per week

Description

Concern Housing is seek a Per Diem Affordable Housing Compliance Assistant to be responsible for performing tasks associated primarily with marketing activities and the LIHTC lottery process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Assists with the initial lease up of new properties, including outreaching applicants to request documents, performing a careful review of all received documents, as well meeting with prospective tenants.

+ Reviews files, prepares them for further review by the Director of Affordable Housing Compliance, and meets with applicants, if needed, to obtain any additional documentation needed.

+ Provides assistance to the Affordable Housing Compliance team in managing lottery activities, as needed.

+ Possesses knowledge of the Federal Fair Housing Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Annual training in these areas is required.

+ Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.

+ Additional tasks as required.

Hourly Rate- $25 - $30

Position Requirements

Individual in this position should possess strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach. Strong computer literacy skills are essential to this position. Preferably certified in Low Income Housing Tax Credit and/or 3+ years’ experience in compliance-related work. Good verbal and written communication skills are also required. Experience and/or education in working with people with disabilities is a plus.
