    Position Overnight Counselor

     

    Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time

     

    Location Pitkin Ave., Brooklyn (Logan)

     

    Salary $41,600

     

    Days/Hours Monday - Friday; 12am - 8am

    Description

    Concern Housing is seeking a Weekday Overnight Counselor to be primarily responsible for the overall monitoring and safety of tenants at the site.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Read log for updates, instructions, and assignments.

    + Filing, organizing charts, office cleaning, photocopying, etc, as assigned and/or as needed.

    + Provide brief counseling as needed, redirect to core staff as appropriate.

    + Crisis intervention as needed.

    + Weekly medication counts, check for accuracy and corresponding documentation.

    + Perform hourly walk-through of site during shift.

    + Participate in monitoring of morning meds as needed.

    + Prompt clients needing to wake early.

    + Attend monthly staff meetings.

    + Attend agency forums.

    + Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.

     

    Salary: $41,600

    Position Requirements

    Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent along with at least two years of experience in a similar role.
