    What You'll Do... As a Vice President of Operations with American Pest you will serve as a key executive leader, driving operational excellence across all our Virginia branches. Reporting directly to the President, you'll oversee Branch Managers, guide strategy, and shape the future of our business as we work to become the mid-Atlantic's preferred pest control provider. You'll lead with a focus on growth, profitability, and integrity - analyzing performance, mentoring leaders, integrating acquisitions, and ensuring high standards across the board.     Who You Are... What does it take to be a successful VP of Operations at American Pest? For starters, you'll have at least 5 years of experience in the pest control industry with 3+ years in a management position. You'll also have...

     

    + Strong coaching skills including the ability to motivate and hold team accountable - daily check-ins, goal setting, performance management, etc.

    + Sales leadership ability with a history of revenue generation and growth

    + Exceptional operational leadership skills

    + Experience conducting presentations

    + Strong knowledge of PestPac or similar Customer Information System

    + Experience successfully managing a P&L statement

    + Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills

    + Strong time management, prioritization, and planning skills

    + Experience with interviewing and hiring with an eye for selection & retention

    + Exemplary oral and written communication skills

    + The ability to travel 50% of the time within our footprint with the possibility of occasional international and domestic travel to Anticimex meetings

    + Technical proficiency with computers, smart phones, etc.

    + Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite

    + A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

    + The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English

    + Exceptional attention to detail

    + Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

    + Availability to work non-standard business hours including weekends and holidays

    + High school degree or equivalent
